Favorite Foods

Too many to think about. I (and my family) really like Cajun food and I cook it fairly often. We often have a gumbo party at Christmas and a Cajun fried turkey. We also like Mexican food. I grew up on just good country food like fresh peas, tomatoes, squash, etc. So I like to visit the farmer's market here during the summer.

We also like Italian food. I plan to post a great meat sauce that makes about 4+ gallons. I freeze it in storage bags and it is great for a quick meal. You can use it over spaghetti, stuffed shells, or even frozen ravioli from the grocery store.

I am presently trying very hard to cut the sugar from my diet with fair success, so my baking has come to a standstill. But I do have a few great recipes.
